The round handcarved purpleheart top is kept flat at the precise spot the Kahler tremolo is fit in the body. The combination of the black tusq nut and the excelent Schaller locking tuners, keep the guitar very well in tune. With one screw the tremolo can be locked and can act as a fixed bridge.
