After working through a list of wishes for this guitar, the last one was: can a light effect be added in the neck?

After considering and making a few tests, under the pearl dots in the neck cut down LED lights are glued in, with the wiring sandwiched between fretboard and neck. Two wire points at the end of the neck are clamped to two brass contact points with springs when the neck is screwed in the body. The lights can simply be turned on or off by the second tone control, wich is a rotary 2 position switch. The LED lights and the active EMG pickups both have their own 9V battery.
